This volume, comprising comprehensive indexes to the preceding
eleven volumes, completes the series The Comedies of Aristophanes.
I am happy to dedicate it to Adrian Phillips in recognition of
his sixtieth birthday, of the constant support which he and his
family have given me over the twenty-four years during which I
have been working on the series and of a publishing endeavour
that has deservedly made Aris & Phillips a household name
among scholars and students of Greek and Roman antiquity throughout
the English-reading world.
