K. Sowada, T. Callaghan and P. Bentley
With contributions by A. Cavanagh, S. Shafik, E. Thompson and H. Wilkins
The new publication presents the results of excavations conducted by the Australian Centre for Egyptology in the Teti Cemetery at Saqqara. The material presented belongs to simple graves of lower class Memphites, interred with a range of funerary goods. The publication includes small finds and pottery, mostly of New Kingdom date, and reports on the burials and the skeletal remains.
Karin Sowada is the Curator of the Nicholson Museum, Sydney. Both Tracey Callaghan and Paul Bentley are research assistants at Macquarie Univeristy.
